Overview
Vinci defaults to a “Lite” version when installed for the first time: not all features are available, in particular, saving of data is not possible.
To obtain a license file, please register at http://www.nf.mpg.de/vinci3/register.html.
With a license file, you can save data and which Plugins are available depends on the license file’s contents: some of our plugins will only be available at our institute (current research, plugins in an experimental state), some plugins are not generally available due to external license restrictions (industry cooperations), sorry.
The license file is “human readable”: it is a text file in XML format. It includes a digital signature - editing the license file will render it invalid, please contact vinci@nf.mpg.de to request changes.
